AN earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale jolted Gulf of California at 07:15:51 GMT today, the US Geological Survey, monitored in Beijing, said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.00 km, was initially determined to be at 28.7710 degrees north latitude and 113.0100 degrees west longitude.
