AIR France will reduce its flights by about 50 percent from tomorrow as pilots begin a weeklong strike over plans to cut costs to recapture market share from budget airlines under its Transavia brand.
The strike, which is likely to run through September 22, will cost the carrier up to 15 million euros (US$19.4 million) a day.
