Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest kicks off

The annual 2016 Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest is now open and accepting photos from photographers worldwide aged between 18 and 33.
This contest, initiated in 2014, was organized by Rossiya Segodnya -- a Russia-based international news agency -- under the auspices of Russia’s Commission for UNESCO, aiming to discover new talent in photo journalism, and promote and develop high standards of documentary photography.
Each participant is allowed to submit one work or one series for each category. The 2016 contest showcases five categories for which young photographers can vie for awards: "My Country," "World Colors. Harmony of Life," "Portraits: A Hero of Our Time," "Top News" and "Sport". Entries may be submitted online through the site stenincontest.com until March 22, 2016.
