Artifacts stolen

BRITISH police say two Chinese artifacts with an estimated combined value of 2 million pounds (US$3.2 million) have been stolen from Durham University's Oriental Museum. Durham police said yesterday that two men and a woman from the West Midlands area have been arrested in connection with the theft. The police did not further describe the artifacts, which were stolen Thursday night.
