Artist flees to France

A museum director said yesterday that the artist whose paintings depicted Russia’s president and prime minister in women’s undergarments had fled the country.
The director of St Petersburg’s Museum of Power, Tatiana Titova, said Konstantin Altunin had left for France and was planning to request asylum there.
