At least 2 dead, more than 100 injured in Boston Marathon explosions

At least two were dead, more than 100 injured in three explosions taking place that took place during the Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon, US media reported.
President Barack Obama said on Monday that the U.S. government has not yet got "all answers" about the explosions that rocked Boston, Massachusetts earlier in the day, but vowed to hold anyone behind them accountable, Xinhua News Agency reported.
Two of the explosions happened near the finish line of the race and one at the Boston JFK Presidential Library.
The organizers of the Boston Marathon said on Facebook page that bombs caused the two explosions.
The two explosions happened at around 3pm and went off within seconds of each other. The first runners in the marathon crossed the finish line around noon.
The Boston Police Department said two explosions happened on the Boyleston Street near the finish line. Local police, fire and bomb squad have arrived at the scene responding to the incident.
Police later confirmed that a third explosion hit the Boston JFK Library, but it remains unclear whether it was related to the previous two blasts near the finish line of the Boston marathon. No one was injured in the third explosion.
CNN's video showed heavy smoke on the street, while emergency crews were treating the injured. Bleeding spectators were seen being carried to the medical tent set up to care for the runners.
Many of the injured appeared to be spectators who had gathered at the scene, local media WCVB.com reported. The area has been evacuated.
Police in New York and Washington D.C. have also beefed up security around the cities in the wake of explosions.
In a live televised statement from the White House, Obama acknowledged that his government still did not know "who did this or why."
The president did not call the explosions a terror attack, and told the people not to "jump to conclusions."
But he stressed that those who were responsible for the incident "will feel the full weight of justice."
"We will find out who did this and we will hold them accountable," said Obama.
