At least 2 killed in big explosion in NW Pakistan's Peshawar

AT least two people were killed and eight others injured in a powerful explosion that occurred in northwest Pakistan's city of Peshawar this morning, according to local TV channel reports.
The blast occurred in a very sensitive area at a chawk in front of Army Stadium in Peshawar, the capital city of North West Frontier Province.
According to the private TV GEO News, at least eight injured have been rushed to the nearby Lady Reading Hospital. The relief activities have been started. The ambulances soon arrived on the blast site.
The nature of the blast could not be ascertained as yet.
