Attack on Turkish wedding was blood feud, 8 held

A deadly attack by gunmen on a wedding party in southeast Turkey yesterday was most likely the result of a blood feud between families, and eight suspects have been detained, Interior Minister Besir Atalay said today.

Atalay said 44 people were killed in the attack, while authorities had said earlier the death toll was 45.
