IN Australia, one 6-month-old baby has made it into the Guinness World Records, as he was conceived from the world's oldest sperm.
Everything started when his father Alex, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at 15, was taken to a sperm bank, in the fear of losing fertility one day due to chemotherapy.
Many years later, Alex had overcome the disease but was infertile. The couple decided to try artificial insemination with the frozen sperm deposited nearly 23 years ago. It worked out and they gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
The couple are considering to have a second baby from the same method.
