COLOGNE'S mayor says a man's body has been found in the rubble of a collapsed archive building in the western German city. Rescue workers found the body early yesterday and delivered it to forensic experts for identification. Two men living in top-floor apartments next to the archive had been missing since it caved in last Tuesday.
Portions of adjacent buildings, including the apartments, were wrecked in the collapse. Mayor Fritz Schramma said the find confirmed rescuers' worst fears.
