Bomb hits Thailand's state television station

A BOMB blast struck Thailand's state-run NBT Television in capital Bangkok yesterday evening, wounding a security guard, Thai News Agency reported.

The explosion occurred after an M79 grenade was earlier fired into Thai Army-run Channel 5 TV station on Bangkok's Phaholyothin Road, injuring one soldier and two passers-by.

A third explosion of the day took place when a hand grenade was hurled into the compound of the Customs Department, shattering a window glass and damaging a vehicle.
