Bomb kills 43 in northwestern Pakistan

A doctor says the death toll in a market bombing in northwestern Pakistan has risen to 43.

Dr Zafar Iqbal says the death toll in today's attack in Peshawar city is expected to rise.

The blast coincided with a trip to Pakistan by US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

She was three hours drive away in the capital of Islamabad when the blast took place.
