Bulgarian PM to leave for China for six-day visit

BULGARIAN Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at the head of a governmental delegation will leave on Sunday for a six-day visit to China, his press office said in a statement on Saturday.

Borissov will participate in the fourth leaders' meeting of China and Central and Eastern European countries that will be held in Suzhou city from Nov. 24 to 25 along with a business forum, the statement said.

The program also includes a separate meeting of the prime ministers of the 16 countries participating in the forum with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Bulgarian government said.

During his visit to Shanghai, Suzhou and Beijing, Borissov will also meet with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang and with Shanghai Mayor Yang Xiong, the statement said.

The governmental delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds and Economic Policies Tomislav Donchev, Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov, Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova, Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva, Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski, and Minister of Economy Bojidar Loukarsky, the statement added.
