POLICE in India say a school bus plunged into a river and at least seven people were killed in the west-coast resort state of Goa.
Police divers and rescuers are searching the waters for another eight people still missing. The bus went into the Kalvi River yesterday about 30 kilometers from Goa's capital of Panaji. Police say the driver lost control and jumped along with the bus conductor from the vehicle. Both the driver and conductor were unhurt.
