Cameron wants UK to fight IS
British Prime Minister David Cameron urged lawmakers yesterday to approve air strikes against Islamic State in Syria, saying Britain could make a ‘real difference.’
Cameron’s argument that Britain should launch more military action in the Middle East was drowned out by lawmakers demanding he apologize for suggesting that those opposing air strikes were “terrorist sympathizers”.
Many Britons are wary of wading into another war in the Middle East after past interventions failed stabilize the region.
