CHINA has replaced India as home to the most applicants for British visas, Britain’s ambassador to China Barbara Woodward said this week. In 2014 Chinese citizens submitted more than 400,000 such applications. Britain has begun issuing long-term visas for both business trips and tourism, the envoy said, adding that the country is trying every means to find more convenient ways to cater to Chinese tourists.
