THE cholera death toll in Haiti has risen to 3,651, the Haitian Public Health and Population Ministry said in a report yesterday.
A total of 171,304 people have been infected with cholera in Haiti since October 2010, when the outbreak began, the report said.
The most affected territories are Aribonite in the northwest where 840 people died, followed by North with 577 deaths, Grande Anse with 563 deaths, and West including Port-au-Prince with 536 fatalities.
