Cholera kills 59
SOUTH Africa's health minister said a cholera outbreak has killed 59 people and infected 12,324 since November but is now under control. Barbara Hogan yesterday said most of the cases have been near neighboring Zimbabwe.
She said its spread is partly due to people drinking untreated river water and cannot be blamed only on Zimbabwe's epidemic, which has killed more than 3,800.
