DPRK fires artillery near S. Korean patrol ship

THE Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) fired artillery shells near a South Korean patrol ship sailing around the western maritime border, local broadcaster YTN reported Thursday.
 

The DPRK started the firing of artillery at about 6:30pm local time and two shells landed in waters near the South Korean patrol ship sailing near the western sea border. The South Korean battleship fired two rounds of shells in response to it.
