DPRK to sue two detained US journalists
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said today it was preparing to indict the two detained US journalists who illegally intruded into its territory earlier this month.
"The illegal entry of US reporters into the DPRK and their suspected hostile acts have been confirmed by evidence and their statements," the official KCNA said.
The report said the treatment of the two American journalists was given according to international laws and the consular contact was allowed.
The DPRK said it detained two American journalists on March 17 as they were "illegally intruding into the territory of the DPRK by crossing the DPRK-China border."
