Earthquake strikes near Indonesia's Bali island

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck offshore from Indonesia's island of Bali today, causing some injuries, officials said.

They said no tsunami warning had been issued.

The quake was felt strongly on the resort island and at least three people had been injured, said Health Ministry official Rustam Pakaya.

The meteorology agency said the epicentre was 101 km (62.76 miles) southeast of Nusadua on Bali.
