MOBILE phone services started to resume across the capital today, after being shut down a day earlier during unprecedented demonstrations calling for President Hosni Mubarak to step down.
Text messaging was still not operating, however.
Telecoms operator Vodafone said yesterday that Egyptian authorities had instructed all mobile operators to suspend services in selected areas of the country.
