U.S. President Barack Obama will arrived here on Tuesday, after a short visit to India, to offer condolences of the dismiss of Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Obama was among the first world leaders who mourned the late King Abdullah. In a written statement, he expressed condolences and offered sympathy to the people of Saudi Arabia, an important ally of the U.S. and a major force in the Islamic world.
In the statement, Obama, who visited the late king in his desert compound last March, praised Abdullah for taking "bold steps" in advancing the Arab Peace Initiative.
Obama also credited the 90-year-old king for being dedicated to the education of his people and for greater outreach to the international community.
