Gabor resting after surgery
HOLLYWOOD legend Zsa Zsa Gabor underwent surgery to treat blood clotting on Friday and was resting comfortably after being rushed to a hospital earlier in the day following recent hip replacement surgery.
The Hungarian-born actress, who has been a fixture in Hollywood movies and on television for decades, was taken to the University of California Los Angeles medical center.
"She is resting and will be in the hospital for a few days," her publicist John Blanchette said.
Gabor, who has steadfastly refused to give her real age but is said to be well into her 90s, was partially paralyzed in a 2002 car accident. She fell out of bed on July 17, broke her hip and underwent surgery.
Her recovery has been difficult, and a speedy return home was delayed because of complications that followed the initial procedure.
She returned to her Bel Air mansion on Wednesday, only to return to the hospital on Friday with the blood clot.
Gabor was one of three glamorous sisters who stole the Hollywood limelight in the 1950s and 1960s, and starred in movies "Moulin Rouge," "Lili" and "Touch of Evil."
