AUSTRALIA'S Environment Minister Peter Garrett will swap the political stage for one he trod in a former incarnation - as the country's loudest antiestablishment rock star.
Garrett this weekend will join former Midnight Oil band members to perform at a concert to raise funds for victims of last month's wildfires. But questions are being raised because many of the band's lyrics do not fit comfortable with Garrett's more conservative political life since leaving the band.
