THE hearing resumed shortly after a protester tried to attack Rupert Murdoch with what appeared to be white foam in a foil pie dish.
After a brief recess, the testimony of James and Rupert Murdoch resumed in a courtroom freshly cleared of the public and journalists.
A man in a plaid shirt ran toward Rupert Murdoch before being struck by the media baron's wife, Wendi Deng. He was detained by police. The attack set off a scuffle and spattered Murdoch's shirt.
