Hopes dim for survivors after Lebanon plane crash

CREWS from several countries are helping in the search effort after the planecrash off the coast of Lebanon.

All 90 aboard were feared dead in Ethiopian Airlines crash, which happened around 2:30 am yesterday during a stormy night of lightning and thunderstorms.

Search teams and equipment were sent from the UN and countries including the United States and Cyprus. Workers are expected to continue looking for bodies today.

Flight 409 crashed in flames, just minutes after takeoff from Beirut. It had been headed to the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
