India cyclone evacuation

INDIAN authorities evacuated hundreds of thousands of people yesterday as a powerful cyclone swept through the Bay of Bengal and headed toward the east coast. Rescue workers were on standby in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa states, with Cyclone Hudhud expected to make landfall near Visakhapatnam around noon today. It could pack winds of 195 kilometers per hour, said officials.
