Investigators say no problems with Polish plane
RUSSIAN investigators say readings from flight recorders indicate that there were no technical problems with Polish President Lech Kaczynski's Soviet-made plane that crashed, killing him and 95 other people.
In footage broadcast on Poland's TVN24 Monday, the investigators told Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin the pilot was warned of bad weather over the airport in Smolensk, western Russia, before the plane crashed while approaching the airport on Saturday.
Kaczynski's body returned to Warsaw yesterday. Forensic experts and families are working to identify other bodies - including the first lady's - and say DNA tests will be necessary in many cases.
