Iraqi soldier kills two US soldiers in Northern Iraq

AN Iraqi soldier killed two US soldiers yesterday in a military base in Iraq's northern city of Mosul, Iraq security source and US military said.

"Hassan al-Dulaimi, an Iraqi soldier opened fire on US soldiers during training at a military base in Hamam al-Alil area, some 20 km south of Mosul, killing two US soldiers," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

A US military statement said that two US soldiers were killed and three others were wounded during small arms fire attack at a combat outpost south of Mosul early this evening.

An individual dressed in an Iraqi Army uniform was killed in the incident, it said, adding that the incident is currently under investigation.
