Kim Jong Il inspects new houses, university

KIM Jong Il, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), recently inspected the newly-built apartment houses and reconstructed Pyongyang University of Dance, the Rodong Sinmun of the DPRK reported today.

According to the Rodong Sinmun, Kim, the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defense Commission of the DPRK, firstly inspected the new apartment houses built at the foot of Haebang Hill.

He expressed great pleasure over the fact that the people were provided with another better houses, highly praising the builders for having successfully finished the construction of the modern houses of the highest level.

He stressed that it is a demonstration of the validity of the Party's idea to have successfully built the modern residential houses suited to the requirement of the new century with domestic building materials and technology.

Then he paid an inspection to the reconstructed Pyongyang University of Dance.

He highly estimated the achievements made by the university, saying it is a valuable asset of the country.
