Kyrgyz opposition leader says in transition to new gov't

KYRGYZ opposition leader Roza Otunbayevain said today that they are in transition to a new government.

Roza Otunbayevain said at a press conference that the government should be responsible for the riots yesterday which left more than 60 people dead.

The death toll from the Kyrgyz unrest has risen to 68, with more than 400 others injured, 70 of them in serious conditions, an official in charge of health affairs of the opposition-controlled interim govenrment told Xinhua today.
