Lincoln vandalism

GREEN paint was splattered on the Lincoln Memorial in Washington early Friday, but the iconic statue was reopened by nightfall after the paint was washed away. The apparent vandalism was discovered around 1:30am Friday with paint on the statue, pedestal and floor, US Park Police said.
