MH370 passenger's sons sue Malaysia Airlines, government
TWO sons of a passenger on the missing flight of MH370 has sued the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and the country's government, according to the local reports on Saturday.
The two boys were sons of Jee Jing Hang, a businessman on board the missing flight. Besides MAS, they also sued Malaysia's government, civil aviation authorities, immigration department and air force for negligence.
They claimed that when their father paid the air fare, he had made an agreement with MAS for a safe journey to Beijing. However, the airline breached the agreement when the plane failed to reach the destination on March 8.
They were seeking damages, aggravated and exemplary damages for the loss of support and mental anguish caused by the tragedy.
MH370 disappeared on March 8 with 239 people aboard en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in what remains one of history's great aviation mysteries.
