Malaysia looks for owners of 'unwanted' Boeing 747s at airport
MALAYSIA'S airports operator is looking for the owners of three Boeing 747 aircrafts "abandoned" at the country's major airport, local media reported Tuesday.
The Malaysia Airports Holdings filed a notice on the local Star newspaper on Monday, giving the owners of three Boeing 747-200F a specific period to collect the planes now parking at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The notice warned that if the owners fail to collect the aircraft within 14 days of the date of the notice, the airports operator reserve the right to sell or otherwise dispose of the aircraft and "use the money raised to set off any expenses and debts due."
