Malaysia to seek justice for MH17 tragedy victims via UN General Assembly: official
MALAYSIAN Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said Saturday that Malaysia would use the platform of the UN General Assembly in New York next week to seek justice for the victims of the MH17 tragedy, according to the report of Bernama, Malaysia's state news agency.
Hishammuddin said Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who would address the assembly, would raise the matter with several leaders he would meet in New York, including U.S. President Barack Obama, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
"We are on the right platform to demand justice and bring to book those responsible for downing the aircraft. No one can deny us this right. Let's wait for the developments at the United Nations," he added.
The minister also said they would make efforts to search for the missing MH370 flight until it was found.
