Miliband, Clinton hold talks over Afghanistan, Iran's nuclear program

BRITISH Foreign Secretary David Miliband held talks with visiting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in London today.

The two discussed Britain-US military strategy in Afghanistan, Iran's nuclear issue and the Northern Ireland peace process.

Both countries are considering whether to boost troops in Afghanistan.

Clinton was expected to convey US President Barack Obama's views on the strategy in Afghanistan.

Clinton's visit to Britain is part of a five-day tour to Europe and she will then have talks with Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
