A PETITION asking President Barack Obama to pardon Edward Snowden has passed 100,000 signatures.
The petition calls the former National Security Agency contractor a "national hero" and calls for an immediate pardon for "blowing the whistle."
White House policy is to respond to petitions that get 100,000 signatures within 30 days.
