Polio Progress Too Slow
THE world is not on track to kill polio by the end of 2012, an independent health expert group warned yesterday.
"Unless some hard messages are given with no holds barred, progress will not be made," said Sir Liam Donaldson, chairman of the group.
To eradicate it, 90 percent of children in a handful of countries need to be immunized.
