S Korea's A/H1N1 flu cases rise to 70
SOUTH Korea's confirmed cases of A/H1N1 virus rose to 70 with three additional cases confirmed today, health authorities said.
According to the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, the recent three cases, all South Koreans who recently returned from the United States, showed flu-like symptoms and went through close observation at state-designated hospitals for treatment.
The new patients were identified as a 30-year-old female doctor, a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old boys, the ministry added.
With the recent cases, South Korea's A/H1N1 flu confirmation toll stands at 70 as of Wednesday morning.
Of the total cases, 13 still remain under close observation in isolated hospitals with the rest being released in good health.
No death case has been reported in South Korea.
