SAFETY experts said finding the cause of a fatal plane crash in the US state of Montana is likely to be significantly complicated by the absence of black boxes, radar data or any mayday call.

Seven adults and seven children died on Sunday when the single-engine turboprop Pilatus PC-12 nose-dived into a cemetery near the Butte airport and burst into flames.
