Space station Ariane supply launch set for today
AN Ariane rocket carrying supplies for the International Space Station is now scheduled for launch today, the Arianespace rocket launch company said.
The launch was stopped four minutes before scheduled lift-off yesterday when a technical glitch halted the final countdown.
The launch in now scheduled for 6:50pm (2150 GMT) from the European Space Agency's launch centre in Kourou, French Guiana on the northeast coast of South America.
Aboard the rocket is the Johannes Kepler cargo vessel that is to re-supply the station.
