Suspect of Pakistan's mosque blast arrested

PAKISTAN'S law enforcement agencies have captured a person suspected of carrying out Lahore blast from the southwestern Balochistan province, private Geo TV channel reported today.

The law enforcement agencies raided a house located in Nasirabad area of Lorazai in Balochistan, arresting the suspect accused of involvement in Lahore bomb blast by the name Muhammad Ilyas, said the report.

A suicide bomber entered the office of a religious scholar Sarfaraz Naeemi in a mosque in Lahore, capital city of the eastern Punjab province on Friday. The bomber blew himself up, killing Sarfaraz Naeemi and five others and injuring several persons.

Taliban have claimed responsibility of the attack in Lahore.
