AFGHAN Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar has been killed in Pakistan, a private television channel reported today.
"Mullah Omar was killed on way from Quetta to North Waziristan," TOLO television said in its news bulletin.
However, it did not provide details on how he was killed and by whom.
Meanwhile, a security official confirmed the killing, saying, "it is correct that Mullah Omar has been killed."
