Two Argentines among dead in French Alps plane crash

TWO Argentines were on the Germanwings flight that crashed on Tuesday in the French Alps, killing all 150 on board, an Argentine diplomat said.
The jet operated by the budget carrier of Germany's Lufthansa went down in a remote area, in the worst aviation disaster on French soil in decades.
"We got in touch with the crisis center and they told us officially that there were two Argentines who boarded the flight," Santiago Martino, an official at the Argentine embassy in Paris, told Radio America.
"The French authorities have said there was no chance for any survivors given the rough terrain and difficult access."
The foreign ministry has not issued a statement.
Germanwings said the Airbus plunged for eight minutes but the crew made no distress call before crashing near the ski resort of Barcelonnette, according to French officials.
