US envoy leaves for Asia on DPRK issues
A SPECIAL US envoy for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is leaving for Asia yesterday to consult on DPRK issues, the US State Department said.
It said US special representative for DPRK policy Stephen Bosworth is leading an interagency delegation to consult with counterparts from South Korea, Japan and China.
"The delegation departed from Washington on the morning of November 20, will arrive in Seoul on November 21, travel to Tokyo on November 22, and depart for Beijing November 23," the department said. "They will return to Washington on November 24."
Bosworth last visited the three Asian states in September.
