Vietnamese PM urges police to ensure security for foreign companies
VIETNAMESE Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Thursday sent a directive to the Ministry of Public Security, ordering them to ensure security and absolute safety for lives and assets of all companies as well as normal productive activities of all companies, especially foreign investment companies.
According to the directive posted on Vietnamese government's e- Portal, the prime minister urges unanimous, active and firm measures to be implemented to prevent and strictly handle those who have provoked illegal actions.
The directive asked local people not to follow illegal actions in order to ensure security and solidarity, contributing to production-business development.
Dung asked relevant agencies to immediately carry out suitable means to support companies in returning to normal production activities.
The Vietnamese prime minister also ordered related agencies to have diplomatic organizations and foreign investors well-informed of the country's consistent policies.
Vietnam is striving to create favorable conditions and ensure absolute safety for people, enterprises and international organizations in Vietnam, following Vietnamese laws and international commitments of the country, said the directive.
