Yes, Obama knows pop star, but was teen impressed?
PERHAPS thankfully for President Barack Obama, questions about the economy aren't always foremost in his audiences' minds.
After delivering some remarks about excelling at school work at Bluestone High School in Virginia, Obama got this question from one girl: "Do you know Justin Bieber?"
Turns out the president does. The pop music star performed at last year's White House Easter Egg Roll.
Obama pronounced Beiber "a very nice young man" and said he thinks he has a girlfriend.
The student also wanted to know if Bieber is short?
Disappointment set in when the president conceded that, yes, he is short.
Obama is on a three-day bus tour promoting his jobs bill in North Carolina and Virginia.
