The jury has retired to consider its verdict in the fraud trial of former Billabong chief executive Matthew Perrin in the District Court in Brisbane.
Perrin has been accused of forging his then wife's signature to obtain more than $13 million in loans and credit extensions from the Commonwealth Bank.
The crown alleged the offences were committed in 2008 after a series of bad investments left Perrin facing financial ruin.
Perrin has pleaded not guilty, claiming his then wife gave him permission to sign documents on her behalf.
