The Australian share market sheds around $35 billion in value, with a fall of more than 2 per cent following Wall Street's rout on Friday.
The benchmark ASX 200 and All Ordinaries indices are off more than 2 per cent heading into the close, with a fear of US interest rate rises driving the sell-off.
